Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join a key EPC project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on inspection and quality assurance of rotating machinery within the oil and gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. This opportunity requires a seasoned professional with at least five years of relevant QC experience, especially in rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all rotating equipment meets project quality standards throughout installation and commissioning phases. Main duties include:

• Inspecting pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and gearboxes for compliance with project specifications.
• Overseeing installation, alignment, and preservation processes.
• Conducting pre-commissioning inspections to verify equipment readiness.
• Reviewing and following Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and method statements.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation and preparing inspection reports.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of Quality Control inspection experience specializing in rotating equipment.
• Background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industrial projects, preferably with NATPET experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and gearboxes.
• Hands-on experience in installation, alignment, preservation, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ITPs, QCPs, and method statements relevant to EPC projects.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, as candidates will undergo a practical test during the interview.

Interview Details

The interview will take place on July 8 at 6:30 PM at Arabian Homes. Candidates must attend with a laptop for an MS Excel and Word practical test and bring a hard copy of their CV.
