Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QC Mechanical Inspector with a solid mechanical background to join our project team in Yanbu. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in mechanical QA/QC inspections, with a particular emphasis on welding and coating processes, to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Mechanical Inspector will be tasked with overseeing inspections related to mechanical equipment, piping, fabrication, and installation activities. This position involves reviewing welding procedures and qualifications, monitoring welding works, conducting coating and painting inspections, and verifying adherence to quality standards and project specifications. Preparing and closing inspection reports and quality documentation are essential parts of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical QA/QC inspection.
• Mechanical engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Proficient in welding inspection, including familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and welder qualifications.
• Experience with coating and painting inspection techniques and standards.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, piping systems, fabrication processes, and installation procedures.
• Well-versed in QA/QC standards, specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and inspection protocols.
• Previous experience working on MARAFIQ projects is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively manage reporting and collaboration.
