Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team on a 3-year contract in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for professionals with a solid background in industrial electrical maintenance, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Technician will be involved in both preventive and corrective maintenance activities, focusing on electrical components such as Medium Voltage Switchgear, Air Circuit Breakers, and Motor Control Centers. Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical faults, repairing distribution panels, monitoring battery chargers and battery banks, and ensuring power cables are functioning correctly. Adherence to industrial safety standards and maintenance protocols is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within an industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Motor Control Centers (MCC), Distribution Panels, Battery Chargers, Battery Banks, and Power Cables.
• Strong analytical skills for fault detection and resolution.
• Proficient in performing both preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best maintenance practices.

Contract Details and Location

This is a fixed-term contract lasting three years, based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial setting within the Oil and Gas sector.
