Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HSSE Manager with a strong background in construction management to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will lead health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) initiatives across construction project sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. Immediate joiners are preferred for this critical safety leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

The HSSE Manager will be responsible for developing and executing HSSE strategies to uphold high safety standards throughout various construction projects. This includes conducting regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections. You will also promote a proactive safety culture, coordinating closely with project managers and stakeholders to integrate HSSE principles into all operational activities.

• Implement and monitor HSSE policies and procedures across sites
• Ensure strict adherence to local and international safety regulations
• Conduct risk evaluations, workplace safety audits, and inspections
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and compliance
• Collaborate with management teams to resolve safety-related issues
• Lead safety training and awareness programs to engage all employees

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing HSSE functions within construction projects, backed by hands-on knowledge of site operations and safety compliance. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential to effectively foster a vigilant safety culture.

• Proven track record as an HSSE Manager on construction sites
• Solid understanding of construction management and site operations
• In-depth knowledge of HSSE standards, regulations, and best practices
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
