Al Shafar Engineering LLC is actively seeking a seasoned Safety Officer to join our team and support ongoing and upcoming construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining health and safety standards within the UAE’s dynamic construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols on site, ensuring full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. This role requires vigilant observation, thorough reporting, and effective communication to mitigate workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer, specifically within the UAE construction sector
• Strong background in building construction safety management
• Possession of relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE HSE laws and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, paired with strong observational abilities
• Proven effectiveness in applying safety compliance procedures on-site
• Currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining
