Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated HSE Safety Officer to join our team and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment within the interior fit-out and construction sector. This role requires strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure compliance on our job sites across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Safety Officer will be responsible for conducting daily site safety inspections and ensuring all personnel adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and established safety protocols. Key duties include leading toolbox talks, delivering safety inductions, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective corrective measures. You will prepare detailed risk assessments, safety reports, and investigate incidents or near misses thoroughly. Maintaining up-to-date HSE records and coordinating directly with site and project teams on safety matters will also be critical to your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have proven experience in Interior Fit-Out or general construction environments. A NEBOSH or IOSH certification is highly preferred, alongside a solid understanding of UAE health and safety regulations and site safety procedures. Proficiency in performing risk assessments, conducting toolbox talks, and carrying out safety inspections is essential. Excellent communication and coordination abilities are necessary to effectively engage with teams and support a safer workplace.
