Jazz Vida Barbershop is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations and Compliance Officer to oversee daily business activities while ensuring full adherence to health, safety, and operational standards. This role is essential for maintaining smooth shop operations, managing financial processes, and upholding workplace safety within a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the barbershop. This includes overseeing daily activities, coordinating cashiering duties, completing financial reconciliations, and preparing sales reports. Efficient scheduling and maintaining high standards of customer service will also be crucial. Additionally, the role requires enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting routine safety inspections, and ensuring compliance documentation is accurately maintained. Acting as the primary contact for both operational and safety matters, the officer will play a vital role in supporting the business’s safe and efficient functioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have proven experience in operations supervision or retail management, ideally within a service-oriented environment. A recognized Health and Safety certification is mandatory, reflecting a strong knowledge of occupational safety standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management is essential. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required to communicate effectively across the team. Candidates must demonstrate solid leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a professional attitude marked by accountability.
