Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Officer with ARAMCO approval to join the Jafurah Gas Development Project team in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on maintaining stringent health and safety standards in a dynamic oil and gas environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing ARAMCO HSE standards throughout the project. Daily tasks include conducting thorough site safety inspections, leading toolbox talks, and monitoring all work activities to ensure adherence to safe work practices. Additionally, the Safety Officer will manage incident reporting by documenting accidents, near misses, and any hazardous conditions. Coordination with project management and safety teams is essential to foster a safe work culture.
Required Skills and Experience
- Must hold valid ARAMCO Safety Officer approval (mandatory).
- At least 5 years of experience in oil and gas or related industrial projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ARAMCO HSE standards and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in the Permit to Work (PTW) system, risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSA), and conducting toolbox meetings.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Experience in performing site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
