Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our team, specializing in construction, industrial, or maintenance environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices, along with hands-on experience in safety management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for conducting thorough safety inspections, carrying out risk assessments, and leading safety training sessions such as toolbox talks. Ensuring strict adherence to HSE regulations and managing incident investigations are crucial parts of this role. Effective communication and reporting skills are essential for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in safety roles within construction, industrial, or maintenance sectors.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk management, and incident investigation procedures.
• Excellent communication abilities for clear reporting and delivering safety training.
• Proficient in conducting safety inspections and facilitating toolbox talks.
