Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned HSE Lead to manage and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities within a significant construction project located in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting safety awareness, and guiding contractor and site team cooperation to maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all HSE initiatives across the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Drive contractor engagement and influence behavior to maintain high safety culture standards.
• Implement and monitor compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Coordinate reporting, communication, and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Identify potential risks and recommend corrective measures to prevent accidents and environmental hazards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Health, Safety & Environment, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory; advanced occupational safety and health certifications are a plus.
• A minimum of 8 to 12 years’ experience leading HSE activities in construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and compliance with local Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership qualities with proven ability to influence contractors and site teams toward improved safety performance.
• Excellent skills in communication, coordination, and reporting.

Additional Requirements

• Availability to start immediately.
• Presence in Riyadh for an in-person interview is required.
• Willingness to work on a rental basis without Iqama transfer.
