Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Officer with SABIC approval to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is vital for ensuring workplace health and safety compliance within industrial and construction environments, safeguarding employees and assets while meeting regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with SABIC regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with local and international health and safety standards.
• Lead safety training sessions and awareness programs for all employees on-site.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and suggesting preventive measures.
• Collaborate with management and project teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid SABIC Safety Officer certification.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation relevant to Saudi Arabia and SABIC standards.
• Proven experience working as a Safety Officer within the industrial or construction sectors.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to deliver safety instructions effectively.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
