Job Overview

We are actively looking for a skilled Safety Officer and Work Permit Receiver (WPR) with valid Saudi Aramco approval to join our project team in Riyadh. This role plays a critical part in enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on-site, ensuring strict adherence to Saudi Aramco’s safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by conducting inspections, promoting safety awareness, and managing safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Ensure all activities comply with Saudi Aramco HSE regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Perform routine site safety inspections and conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Oversee work processes to enforce safe practices and intervene when unsafe conditions arise.
• Carry out detailed investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing comprehensive reports.
• Lead toolbox talks and deliver safety training sessions to raise awareness among site workers.
• Verify the validity of work permits, ensure the availability of safety equipment, and confirm emergency preparedness measures.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams and client representatives on all safety-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Saudi Aramco Safety Officer Approval is mandatory.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environment disciplines.
• Proven experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure project environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of Saudi Aramco safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills coupled with an ability to generate detailed and clear safety reports.
