Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and certified Safety Officer to join our team in Madina, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will hold valid approval from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and bring expertise in maintaining safety standards at project sites. This role involves enforcing safety regulations, conducting thorough inspections, and fostering a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing site safety and compliance by:

• Ensuring adherence to all Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) safety guidelines.
• Regularly inspecting the work site to identify and address potential hazards.
• Conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Implementing and enforcing health and safety policies across the project.
• Delivering safety training sessions and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
• Preparing detailed reports following workplace incidents or accidents.
• Maintaining accurate safety documentation and records.
• Collaborating closely with project managers and site supervisors on safety-related issues.
• Ensuring proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety tools.

Requirements

• Valid Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Safety Officer approval is mandatory.
• A diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience working as a Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and incident investigation techniques.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare clear, detailed reports.
• Capacity to work independently under pressure while managing site safety effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on electrical or utility projects.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license.
