Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join a fast-paced industrial shutdown project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for maintaining strict safety standards and ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols during the shutdown period. The initial contract is for two months, with possible extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety procedures, managing work permits, and conducting fire watch duties to prevent workplace hazards. This includes monitoring daily operations to ensure adherence to industry safety regulations and protocols, particularly within an industrial shutdown environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record working safely within industrial shutdown projects
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response protocols
• Ability to manage work permits and oversee fire watch responsibilities effectively
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Availability for immediate deployment is highly preferred

• Valid and transferable Iqama
• Up-to-date professional CV detailing relevant experience
• Willingness to commit to the project duration with flexibility for extensions

Compensation

Remuneration will be determined following completion of all necessary technical approvals and verification of legal documents. Details regarding hourly or monthly pay will be finalized accordingly.
