Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Consultant specializing in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) to support construction, industrial, and EPC plant projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in developing and sustaining effective QHSE management systems that meet the stringent requirements of Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, and other clients while aligning with Saudi regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Consultant will take charge of establishing and maintaining corporate and project-specific QHSE management frameworks to ensure thorough compliance. Responsibilities include managing and updating QHSE manuals, procedures, policies, and documentation. The role prepares necessary QHSE documentation for client prequalification, vendor registrations, and project approvals.

Leading internal, client, third-party, and certification audits is a vital function, accompanied by ensuring prompt resolution of any identified audit findings. The consultant monitors QHSE key performance indicators and compiles detailed performance reports for management review.

Site audits and inspections will be conducted regularly to verify compliance with corporate QHSE policies. Additionally, approving Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Plans forms part of the duties.

Handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), conducting incident investigations, and managing corrective and preventive actions are essential to uphold safety and quality standards. The consultant also provides expert guidance to project QHSE teams and works collaboratively with project management, engineering, construction, and clients to ensure seamless QHSE implementation throughout project lifecycles.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate or regional QHSE roles specific to EPC, construction, industrial, or plant projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing QHSE systems across multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, NEOM, and SABIC standards is highly advantageous.

Preferred Certifications

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or IOSH Managing Safely.
  • ISO Lead Auditor certifications in ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and/or ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
