Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Internal HSE Auditor to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in health, safety, and environmental auditing, particularly within the construction or infrastructure industries. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards and improving HSE systems through thorough audits and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the HSE management system. Leading audits such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, the auditor will manage sustainability and environmental assessments, deliver detailed reports, and work closely with different stakeholders to promote continuous improvement. Additional duties include performing GAP analyses, managing audit schedules, and ensuring all corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in HSE auditing within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Certification as an OSH Practitioner or Professional from the Ministry of HRSD, KSA.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalents are mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 14064, SA8000 standards, and high-risk environment regulations.
• Superior analytical, communication, and report-writing capabilities, enabling clear presentation of audit findings to management.

Additional Responsibilities

The Lead Internal HSE Auditor will develop audit methodologies and tools to enhance audit efficiency, conduct focused audits on project sites, corporate operations, and storage facilities, and support the company’s commitment to sustainability goals. The role involves collaboration with various teams to maintain compliance and promote safety culture throughout the organization.
