Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated HSE Officer with a strong engineering background and safety qualifications to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across various projects, supporting project and maintenance departments in maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safety orientation training to employees, assisting with project-related HSE documentation such as risk assessments and job hazard analyses, and maintaining all relevant HSE records and certifications.

Additional duties include preparing monthly QHSE reports for main contractors, advising facility management on safety practices, and promoting accident prevention measures to safeguard both employees and the employer. The role also requires developing site-specific HSE plans, emergency response procedures, and facilitating safety training sessions and fire drills.

The HSE Officer will conduct regular inspections of labor camps and project sites, prepare work permits, and participate actively in HSE meetings with main contractors and clients. They will coordinate closely with site managers and engineers to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with all applicable quality and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent with a recognized safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer use and bilingual language capabilities are preferred.
• Experience in preparing and managing HSE documentation and reports.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and implement corrective actions promptly.

Work Environment

This position involves working closely with diverse teams across project and maintenance departments and requires regular site visits to monitor safety compliance. The role demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders, including clients and consultants, to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are upheld.
