Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer with over 4 years of professional experience working within construction and industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) and demonstrates comprehensive expertise in safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Currently engaged in significant projects such as The New Mukaab Project alongside China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), this role involves ensuring all safety protocols are met and fostering a culture of workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identifications to mitigate workplace dangers
• Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure operational safety
• Perform regular safety inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
• Lead toolbox talks and deliver safety training sessions to teams on site
• Carry out incident investigations and prepare detailed reports on safety issues
• Oversee confined space, work at height, and excavation safety procedures
• Ensure proper use and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain and update safety documentation and records diligently

Required Skills and Certifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory
• Proven expertise in first aid, confined space safety, and firefighting
• Experience as a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) and familiarity with QA/QC protocols
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
• Excellent communication skills to effectively conduct training and safety briefings

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting large-scale construction and industrial projects. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
