Job Overview
We are actively seeking a seasoned Safety Officer to join our team in Khurma, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards specifically for substation projects and 380kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) construction. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of hands-on HSE experience, with a strong background in construction safety protocols and relevant industry certifications.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations on site, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment throughout the duration of the project. This position requires close collaboration with project teams to identify hazards and implement preventive measures effectively.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles
- At least 5 years of focused experience in construction project environments
- Proven expertise working on 380kV Overhead Transmission Line and/or Substation projects
- Mandatory Saudi Energy Commission (SEC) Approval certificate
