Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to lead and manage health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs within our sites located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for ensuring that all workplace safety standards comply with local regulatory requirements while fostering a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough workplace inspections and perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Deliver effective safety training programs to employees across various departments.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including safety manuals, compliance records, and emergency response plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar health and safety role within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian health and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.

Work Environment

This position involves working across multiple sites in Saudi Arabia, requiring a proactive approach to managing safety in dynamic, operational environments. The role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to respond efficiently during emergencies.
