Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to manage and enforce safety standards at our project site in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough site inspections to evaluate safety practices and adherence to regulations.
• Monitoring daily work activities to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
• Ensuring all personnel use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Preparing detailed safety reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Leading toolbox talks and safety trainings to increase awareness and promote best practices.
• Investigating workplace incidents promptly to determine root causes and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinating with management and site teams to implement necessary actions that enhance site safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant should possess strong knowledge of health and safety standards and have proven experience in occupational safety management, particularly in a project-based environment. Effective communication and the ability to lead safety initiatives are essential.
