Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Precast Civil Engineer to manage the design, production, and installation of precast concrete components. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality outputs on projects, maintaining efficiency, and keeping strict adherence to specifications and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing various precast concrete elements including beams, columns, slabs, and panels. They will collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to define precast requirements. Overseeing the precast production process at the factory to guarantee precision and quality will be a major part of the role. Furthermore, managing the site installation process to ensure correct alignment and adherence to safety standards is essential.

Additional duties include reviewing shop drawings, technical submissions, and method statements. The engineer will enforce compliance with project codes and safety guidelines, conduct inspections throughout production and construction phases, and resolve any technical challenges connected to precast elements. Coordination of logistics, transportation, and lifting plans for the precast items is also expected, along with preparing regular progress reports and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Between 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience with precast concrete projects
• In-depth knowledge of precast concrete systems, manufacturing, and erection techniques
• Familiarity with national and international construction standards and building codes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering-related software tools
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
• Comfortable working in both factory settings and field construction sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial building projects
• Hands-on knowledge of BIM software such as Revit or Tekla
• Previous involvement in projects within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region

This position is supplier-based and offers a competitive compensation package. Please note that Iqama transfer is not applicable; contracts will be managed through Ajeer or under a Kafeel No Objection Letter system.
