Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team for an upcoming project based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managing construction sites and offering technical support to ensure the project aligns with specified standards, regulations, and timelines. This role requires hands-on supervision and coordination with multiple stakeholders in the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring all work meets project specifications and Saudi Arabian construction quality standards. Duties include reviewing and approving shop drawings, checking project specifications, and resolving any design discrepancies. Coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors to address construction challenges is essential to maintain workflow efficiency. The engineer will also approve materials and equipment, conduct regular site inspections focusing on safety, quality, and compliance, and provide clear technical guidance to the construction teams. Keeping detailed records of progress, change orders, and documentation will be part of the role alongside enforcing safety protocols and reporting any incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Current membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required.
• At least 8 years of proven experience in site engineering or construction management within Saudi Arabia.
• Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, local codes, and construction regulations.
• Proficiency with construction management tools and software.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Availability to work on-site in Riyadh.
