Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Draftsman to join our team in Riyadh. This role plays a vital part in producing accurate 2D technical drawings for electrical and mechanical systems, aligned with project needs, engineering inputs, and on-site requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Drafting:

• Create detailed 2D electrical layouts covering power distribution, lighting, and low current systems such as CCTV, access control, data networks, and fire alarms.
• Develop and update single line diagrams (SLDs) and revise drawings as per feedback and site modifications.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian standards, SEC regulations, and project-specific guidelines.

Mechanical Drafting:

• Prepare comprehensive mechanical drawings including HVAC ducting, plumbing systems, drainage, and firefighting layouts.
• Translate engineers’ sketches into precise technical drawings and maintain coordination for design updates.

General Drafting Duties:

• Maintain accuracy, proper scaling, and clarity in all drawings.
• Produce as-built drawings post project completion.
• Organize and manage drawing documentation systematically.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely completion and delivery of drafting tasks.
• Adhere to company drafting standards and templates consistently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Drafting Technology.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in 2D drafting, preferably within the GCC region.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; basic knowledge of MS Office is required.
• Solid understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and site sketches accurately.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Saudi building codes, civil defense regulations, and MEP standards.
• Experience with construction workflows and site coordination activities.
• Background in creating drawings for maintenance, fit-out, or facility management projects.
