Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) is dedicated to creating world-class entertainment destinations across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineering Director to lead our technical and engineering efforts, focusing on structural and MEP disciplines. This role will be pivotal in managing technical teams, directing the delivery of engineering designs, and ensuring operational excellence throughout our real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Engineering Director will be responsible for shaping and implementing client strategies across diverse entertainment complexes. This includes overseeing energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, air conditioning systems, and modular construction techniques. The role demands leadership of a technical team to guarantee timely and accurate project delivery while managing relationships with lead design and project management consultants.

Additional duties involve providing expert technical guidance during all project phases, evaluating resource needs, and balancing internal and external staffing models. You will also handle technical input related to financial elements like cost plans and variation approvals. Implementing BIM client requirements and advancing 3D modeling and data analytics strategies will be fundamental.

Resolving technical disputes, coordinating with utilities and authorities, and maintaining clear communication among stakeholders are crucial. The director will also define operational resource needs for managing the technical aspects of entertainment complexes and manage technical risks by collaborating closely with consultants.

Documenting and sharing lessons learned from projects to improve future processes and reduce errors will be an ongoing responsibility, ensuring the company maintains a strong reservoir of technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Experience

• More than 12 years of experience within the real estate industry, with at least 5 years leading technical or engineering teams.
• A degree in real estate, engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in managing technical delivery on large-scale programs and projects.
• Regional experience within the Middle East is preferred, enhancing understanding of local regulations and market conditions.
