Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This mixed-use development aims to become a global landmark, offering a self-sustaining community with iconic assets. The role will focus on project planning, scheduling, and coordination to support the Project Management Consultancy services led by KBR.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Planning Manager, you will lead a team of planners, overseeing the preparation and maintenance of the project’s work breakdown structure and integrated master schedule. Your role involves close coordination with Package Managers, Consultants, and Contractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

• Lead and manage the planning team to meet project deadlines.
• Create and update the integrated project master schedule ensuring accuracy and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Analyze Consultants’ and Contractors’ schedules and progress reports.
• Conduct critical path analysis to identify and address schedule risks.
• Prepare independent risk assessments related to scheduling activities.
• Generate clear, concise weekly and monthly reports documenting project progress.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering or construction management background supported by substantial regional experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior planning role on large-scale projects.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the Gulf region is essential.
• Professional certifications and memberships are required.
• In-depth knowledge of civil and infrastructure project engineering and commercial aspects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Pert Master, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Expertise in CPM scheduling, resource allocation, cost loading, and risk management techniques.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor project progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent report writing skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written.
