Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler / Planning Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering and construction management. This position is ideal for professionals who have extensive expertise in project planning and scheduling, particularly within Saudi Aramco PMT projects. The role involves managing project timelines, developing comprehensive schedules, and ensuring smooth project execution in alignment with Saudi Aramco standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Scheduler / Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 software. You will develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project execution plans to monitor progress effectively. Your tasks include identifying any schedule deviations, preparing recovery and look-ahead schedules, and ensuring all activities meet their deadlines by coordinating closely with project teams. Additionally, you will generate weekly and monthly progress reports and conduct schedule risk analysis and forecasting to anticipate project challenges.

Required Skills and Expertise

• In-depth experience with Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques
• Strong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project execution methodologies
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco engineering procedures (SAEP) and compliance standards
• Ability to analyze schedule risks and offer practical forecasting solutions
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills to ensure timely project completions

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and possess at least 10 years of planning experience, specifically on Saudi Aramco PMT projects. It is essential that candidates are Saudi Aramco PMT Approved to qualify for this role.
