Job Overview

Al Rajhi Building and Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring over 8 years of expertise in managing project costs, supporting procurement processes, and delivering precise financial reporting for MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities specifically for MEP scope of work.
• Oversee and manage project budgets to ensure expenditures remain within allocated limits.
• Evaluate and review quotations submitted by subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with project teams to facilitate seamless execution and timely delivery of MEP components.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures through value engineering without compromising quality or safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience of at least 8 years working on MEP-related construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction cost control, estimating techniques, and procurement procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-standard cost management software such as CostX and QSPlus.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills paired with strong analytical abilities.
