Job Overview

We are currently looking for skilled Civil Inspectors with offshore expertise to join key oil and gas projects located offshore in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on inspection and quality control of civil and structural works, including offshore platform upgrades and specialized systems installations. Candidates with strong offshore construction experience and understanding of stringent quality and safety standards will find this opportunity compelling.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves conducting thorough civil and structural inspections across various offshore construction and maintenance tasks. You will monitor activities related to structural strengthening efforts, ensuring adherence to project specifications and engineering standards. A significant part of the role includes supervising upgrades to fire protection systems on offshore platforms, as well as overseeing the installation of Oil Metering Systems. You will also inspect piled steel platform work, from fabrication through to erection, confirming the structural integrity at every stage.

Ensuring all civil and structural projects comply with approved drawings, QA/QC procedures, and international codes is crucial. Collaborating with project engineers, construction crews, and QA/QC teams to identify and implement corrective actions will be part of your daily responsibilities. Accurate preparation of inspection reports, punch lists, and relevant documentation is essential. Strict compliance with offshore Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards must be maintained throughout the project.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ offshore experience in oil and gas or EPC projects.
• Hands-on experience with structural strengthening and offshore platform systems upgrades, including fire protection.
• Proven ability to oversee Oil Metering System installations and piled steel platform constructions.
• Strong familiarity with offshore construction standards, QA/QC inspection procedures, and offshore HSE regulations.
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective reporting and team coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional certifications related to offshore operations would be beneficial. Experience working on major projects under Saudi Aramco or comparable offshore EPC ventures is highly desirable. Knowledge of international offshore safety standards and a track record of compliance in demanding environments will enhance your candidacy.

Employment Details

This is a contract-based, long-term project assignment requiring immediate joiners. The work location is offshore Saudi Arabia with two available positions.
