Job Overview

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead refinery restoration projects in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on overseeing a wide range of construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, equipment installation, electrical, instrumentation, insulation, and painting works. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in managing complex refinery restoration or brownfield projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will plan, organize, and supervise all construction operations related to refinery restoration. They will ensure all activities align with approved drawings, project specifications, and internal procedures. Effective coordination of construction sequencing to boost productivity, minimize disruption to refinery operations, and timely monitoring of work progress with corrective actions are critical aspects of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 15 years of experience in oil and gas or refinery construction projects.
• A minimum of 5 years serving as a Construction Manager, preferably in refinery restoration, brownfield projects, shutdowns, or turnarounds.
• Demonstrated expertise in leadership, planning, construction coordination, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) management.

Work Environment

This position involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams on site in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, often in a dynamic and challenging refinery setting. Strong emphasis is placed on safety compliance and efficient project delivery within the stipulated timelines.
