Job Overview

We are looking for skilled Civil Inspectors with proven offshore experience to join key oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. This contract role involves overseeing various inspection activities related to civil and structural works on offshore platforms, including structural strengthening, fire protection system upgrades, oil metering installations, and piled steel platform inspections. Candidates should be familiar with offshore construction standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of civil and structural offshore construction and maintenance work.
• Oversee structural strengthening projects to verify alignment with engineering specifications and quality requirements.
• Supervise the upgrade of offshore platform fire protection systems to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Inspect the installation and functionality of Oil Metering Systems on offshore platforms.
• Monitor the fabrication, erection, and integrity of piled steel platforms throughout all phases.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, QA/QC procedures, and international offshore standards.
• Review contractors’ work progress and quality assurance compliance on-site.
• Coordinate inspection activities with project engineers, construction teams, and QA/QC departments, addressing any corrective measures promptly.
• Maintain detailed daily inspection reports, punch lists, and other necessary documentation.
• Uphold strict compliance with offshore Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during all inspection processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of offshore civil inspection experience within Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Strong practical knowledge and experience in structural strengthening, fire protection system upgrades, oil metering systems, and piled steel platform works.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, project specifications, and inspection methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to prepare comprehensive inspection reports.
• Experience working on offshore oil and gas platforms is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of relevant offshore certifications.
• Previous involvement in Saudi Aramco projects or large-scale offshore EPC contracts is a distinct advantage.
• Well-versed in international offshore construction standards and safety protocols.
