A well-established global consulting firm located in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned Internal Auditor with extensive experience in the banking sector. This role requires a professional who is adept at evaluating internal control systems and ensuring compliance within financial institutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong audit expertise combined with a deep understanding of banking regulations and operational risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive internal audits across operational, financial, and compliance areas within banking institutions.
• Assess risk factors and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control frameworks.
• Conduct detailed reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements specific to the banking industry.
• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations effectively to management.
• Collaborate with different departments to improve audit processes and support risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 6 years’ experience in internal auditing, specifically within banking or financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of audit planning, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control evaluation.
• Solid understanding of banking sector regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline is preferable.
