Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will have hands-on accounting experience within Saudi Arabia and a thorough understanding of financial reporting, compliance requirements, and everyday accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves managing all aspects of daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations while ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, including VAT guidelines established by ZATCA. Maintaining the general ledger and closely monitoring all financial transactions are also essential duties. Additionally, you will support audits, participate in budgeting processes, and contribute to financial analysis. Precision and integrity in handling financial data are paramount.

Required Skills and Experience

• Between 2 to 5 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
• Practical experience with VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia (ZATCA compliance)
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Tally, along with Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced or expanding organizations will be considered an advantage.
