Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations within our finance department. This role is specifically geared towards candidates with a background in manufacturing, particularly in the steel and metal forming industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting functions including overseeing cost accounting methods, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The candidate will also coordinate financial activities to support business operations and contribute to the efficiency of the accounting team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting roles, with a preference for those who have served as Chief or Senior Accountant.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting techniques relevant to manufacturing sectors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced with ERP systems or SAP software.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles within manufacturing, especially steel and metal forming industries.
