Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with a strong background in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

The accountant will be responsible for maintaining precise accounting records and handling financial transactions. Key duties include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, and conducting bank reconciliations. The role also involves maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Additional responsibilities include assisting with VAT returns and ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements. The candidate will support budgeting activities, monitor expenses, perform financial analysis, and collaborate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic is required, while English language skills are advantageous. Applicants should have a solid understanding of Saudi VAT laws and ZATCA regulations. Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems is essential. Strong analytical abilities, numeracy, and organizational skills are critical for success in this role. Preference will be given to candidates with previous accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
