Job Overview

Right Printing Press Est., based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in the commercial printing and packaging industry. This full-time role involves managing daily accounting duties, monitoring job costs, tracking inventory, handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring VAT compliance, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for accurately calculating production costs, including raw materials, labor, machinery usage, waste, and finishing expenses. Daily bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations will be essential. The role also requires overseeing inventory levels for supplies like paper boards, inks, plates, and foils, conducting regular physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.

Additionally, the candidate will generate precise tax invoices, maintain customer credit limits, and ensure timely payment collection. Compliance duties include preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns in line with Saudi ZATCA e-invoicing regulations. Payroll management, including processing monthly staff salaries, overtime calculations, leave settlements, and end-of-service benefits, also falls within the scope of responsibilities. Preparing monthly financial statements such as profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and variance analyses will support management’s decision-making process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience is required, preferably within manufacturing, packaging, or printing press sectors. Experience working in the Gulf region, specifically Saudi Arabia, is highly advantageous.

Proficiency in common accounting and ERP software is expected, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. A solid understanding of Saudi VAT laws and ZATCA e-invoicing standards is crucial. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of Arabic is considered a significant plus.
