Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chief Accountant and Cost Controller to join a leading Ready-Mix Concrete company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with strong expertise in accounting and cost control, specializing in the Ready-Mix industry. The successful candidate will manage financial operations, ensure accurate cost analysis, and oversee ERP systems within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

As the Chief Accountant and Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring all accounting activities and managing cost control processes specific to the Ready-Mix sector. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing costing systems, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. You will also play a crucial role in improving cost efficiency and supporting decision-making through detailed financial insights.

Required Skills and Experience

• Less than 10 years of overall accounting experience
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years working directly in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry
• Demonstrated expertise in Ready-Mix costing systems
• Hands-on experience with ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
• At least 3 years of recent professional experience in Saudi Arabia
• Strong emotional intelligence and a confident personality
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong English communication skills
• Willingness to work under demanding conditions, including a six-day workweek

Work Environment

The position is located in Riyadh and requires commitment to a structured, fast-paced setting typical of the Ready-Mix concrete industry. The candidate should be prepared for a six-day work schedule and able to adapt to the operational demands of a construction materials company.
