Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Accounts Lead to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves promoting Takeda’s pharmaceutical products through strategic engagements with healthcare professionals, meeting sales targets, and supporting marketing initiatives under direct supervision. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare sales, customer-centric, and motivated to exceed business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Lead will be responsible for delivering a consistent number of high-quality sales visits to healthcare professionals within their assigned territory, in line with Takeda’s strategic plans. Key duties include:

  • Promoting designated pharmaceutical products to targeted healthcare professionals according to company strategy.
  • Exceeding sales and market share targets by ensuring effective daily sales interactions.
  • Conducting product presentations, organizing group meetings, and managing roundtables to engage healthcare providers.
  • Implementing sales and marketing action plans with strict adherence to company promotional guidelines.
  • Managing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships and contributing to KOL plan development and execution under supervision.
  • Performing detailed territory analysis to optimize sales opportunities and proposing actionable investment plans.
  • Consistently reporting activities using sales effectiveness tools while maintaining compliance with company codes of conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Medicine from a reputable university is mandatory.
  • Open to fresh graduates; however, 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build professional networks within the healthcare sector.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities suited for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership potential with effective management and relationship-building qualities.
  • Positive attitude with a quick learning aptitude.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Must be a Saudi national.

Work Environment
