Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Indian Accountant with 2 to 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry to strengthen our finance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting cost control efforts within a dynamic restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial reports and reconciliations. Monitoring sales activity, cash flow, and bank transactions is vital, along with managing accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, this role involves performing inventory and food cost analysis, assisting in monthly financial closings, and coordinating closely with operations and purchasing departments. Ensuring compliance with VAT and maintaining thorough accounting records are also essential duties.

Required Skills and Experience

• Indian nationality preferred
• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience within the F&B or restaurant sector
• Strong knowledge of restaurant accounting principles and cost control measures
• Proficiency with POS systems and accounting software such as Xero, Foodics, and Supy
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Understanding of VAT regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Effective communication and analytical abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Familiarity with restaurant ERP or POS systems
• Experience with food cost and inventory management
• SOCPA registration is an added advantage
