Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 5 to 8+ years of experience in the contracting or construction sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations. Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions and maintaining accurate records within the accounting system. Key duties include preparing monthly financial statements and cost reports related to ongoing construction projects, monitoring expenses against budgets, and handling invoicing and payments to suppliers and subcontractors. The role also requires reconciling bank statements, overseeing collections, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Zakat, Tax Authority (ZATCA) requirements, and VAT filings. Additionally, the candidate will assist external auditors by preparing required documents for audits and financial reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 8+ years of accounting experience within contracting or construction companies.
• Deep understanding of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP ERP, Odoo, or similar systems.
• Good knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations and tax compliance.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
