Job Overview

PIGEON is currently seeking a skilled HSE Officer with a strong background in solar projects and oil & gas sectors to join their team in Dukhan, Qatar. This role requires an individual who can maintain high safety standards, ensuring the well-being of all personnel on-site. The position is offered on a freelance basis with a six-month contract, and the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental procedures on site. You will conduct regular risk assessments, ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, and provide safety training and guidance to staff. Close collaboration with project managers and teams to foster a culture of safety and prevent workplace hazards will be essential.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in HSE roles within solar and oil & gas projects
• Possess a valid H2S certification
• NEBOSH certification along with First Aid qualification
• Valid Qatar driving license
• Must hold a valid Qatar ID

Work Conditions

This position is based in Dukhan, Qatar, with a work schedule of 10 hours daily, six days a week. Immediate availability is required for the role. Candidates must be freelancers to qualify for this opportunity.
