Job Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join a team in Qatar on a short-term contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Facilities Management and Operations & Maintenance, looking to apply their health, safety, and environmental skills in a dynamic setting. The initial contract is for 2 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
The chosen candidate will be responsible for conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established HSE standards. They will play a crucial role in implementing health and safety protocols and supporting ongoing safety initiatives within the facilities management domain. Monitoring and reporting on safety compliance and contributing to risk assessments will also be part of the day-to-day duties.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in health, safety, and environmental roles.
- Essential background in Facilities Management (FM) or Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
- Familiarity with conducting thorough safety inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Legal eligibility to work in Qatar is required; preference given to locally available candidates.
