Job Overview

Excel Metal Industries is actively seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join our team on a permanent basis for a road infrastructure project in Qatar. This role demands a proactive individual with 2 to 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment within construction or infrastructure sectors. Immediate availability is preferred to support our ongoing safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The selected HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of health and safety protocols across the project site. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, preparing job safety analyses (JSA), monitoring permits to work (PTW), and maintaining compliance with Qatar’s safety regulations. The role also involves regular site inspections and reporting to management to uphold a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or an HSE-related discipline.
• Proven experience spanning 2 to 5 years in HSE roles, especially in road construction or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar’s HSE regulatory framework and practical safety management tools.
• Valid Qatar Light Driving License is mandatory.
• NEBOSH IGC or IOSH certification is highly desirable.
