ASTERIA CONTRACTING & TRADING W.L.L is seeking three skilled Safety Officers to join their team for an extended project located in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management to contribute to a safe working environment on a significant site.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed Safety Officers will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting a safe workplace. They will conduct risk assessments, oversee safety audits, and support the project team in maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a comparable health, safety, and environmental (HSE) role.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices applicable to large construction or industrial projects.
• Proven capability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Qatar. Preference will be given to freelance professionals who can demonstrate flexibility and reliability in managing safety responsibilities on long-term assignments.
