We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Officer for an important project located in Mesaieed, Qatar. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental practices, specifically within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining workplace safety and compliance with QatarEnergy standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, enforcing safety regulations, coordinating safety training programs, and reporting on safety performance. The officer will collaborate closely with project teams to mitigate hazards and promote a culture of safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety
• IOSH certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) roles
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the oil and gas sector

Work Schedule and Benefits
