Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join Al Ghurair Infrastructure Facilities Solutions in Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in occupational health and safety, especially those experienced in construction environments. Immediate joiners are highly preferred for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols on construction sites. Duties include monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing subcontractor and workforce safety, and ensuring all safety standards are maintained to prevent accidents and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience working with HVAC systems
• Mandatory certification from NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA
• Valid driving license is required to support site travels
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of safety management experience on construction sites, particularly in civil, building, infrastructure, MEP, or industrial projects
• Experience in supervising subcontractor and workforce safety is an advantage
• First-Aid and Fire Safety training certificates will be considered a plus
