Fornax Global is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join their team in Al Wakrah, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site safety and a minimum of five years of experience working within the GCC region. This role demands a proactive professional who can implement and maintain strict safety protocols across construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that all safety measures are followed to prevent accidents. The role involves regular risk assessments, preparing safety reports, and promoting a culture of safety among workers on site. Collaboration with project managers and contractors to uphold safety standards is essential.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction safety within the GCC region
• Valid NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification, issued in 2022 or earlier
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction site safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to analyze safety risks and implement corrective actions promptly
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
