Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer with a minimum of five years’ experience in Middle Eastern construction environments. This role is based in Al Wakra, Qatar, and is open to local candidates only. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial building and villa projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Leading toolbox talks and training sessions to promote safety awareness among workers.
• Monitoring adherence to HSE regulations and company safety policies.
• Preparing and managing incident reports accurately and timely.
• Collaborating with project teams to implement effective safety measures and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of safety experience in Middle East construction projects.
• Direct experience with commercial building and villa construction projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (2022 or earlier).
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory.
