Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join the Oil & Gas team based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This position is on a contract basis for three months with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on brownfield projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards on site, promoting a safe working environment, and supporting the implementation of health and safety policies specific to oil and gas operations. You will also conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a proactive safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of practical experience in the oil and gas sector, including a minimum of 2 years working on brownfield projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) level 3 or equivalent certification.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply safety regulations in complex industrial environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Must provide original copies of educational certificates, NEBOSH certification, and relevant experience documents.
