Job Overview

Trags Qatar is seeking a skilled and dedicated HSE Officer to join their team for a prominent long-term Oil & Gas project based in Qatar. This site-based position is critical in ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will be responsible for enforcing compliance with established safety regulations, conducting thorough site inspections, carrying out risk assessments, and managing incident investigations. Promoting a strong safety culture and delivering effective safety briefings and toolbox talks to the workforce will also form a vital part of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• At least eight years of experience within the Oil & Gas sector
• Minimum five years of professional experience working in the GCC region
• Proficient in conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety investigations
• Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices
• Strong communication skills with an ability to foster teamwork and promote safety awareness
